The sea in my room

My life has been one riddled with deeply meaningful objects. Over time, I have had to discard many of these possessions, things that instill much nostalgia in me as I look back. Such intimate connections has also created within me an obsession with collecting things in my personal space, especially given my fear of losing childhood artefacts. As I grow, such a multitude of objects become physically and emotionally overwhelming, especially in the tiny space of my room. This seascape attempts to emphasize such a notion. The sea, often thought of to be vast is here cramped and domineering, while my room is infiltrated by the waves.
