Storeroom

I’ve always been drawn to places with an aura of mystery or dilapidation, areas long forgotten or empty. So, with this piece, I wanted to portray one of those kinds of locations within the school. I decided to depict the storeroom behind the Paint Studio, due to my familiarity with it, having explored it during AEP in Year 2. The claustrophobic layout of this narrow corridor-like room, its lack of any opening out into the daylight, and its relatively unknown and obscure status made it all the more interesting to me. I tried to flesh out these qualities in my diorama, attempting to portray it as accurately as possible. I also rendered a small section of the paint studio outside to make it a bit more recognizable.
