Paper Cage

This task made me wonder what was a corner in school that was always overlooked. This led me to the print shop in Sheares Block, which is constantly filled with students, while the aunties slaved away to produce tons of paper copies. Thus i was inspired to create a scene of the messy, cramped and disorganized atmosphere that the printing shop exudes. I exaggerated the number of boxes to create that sense of chaos in the space. I also made the auntie the focal point of the artwork, standing out in the midst of the cluttered background of the print shop.
