My Grandfather’s Clock

The diorama is the reimagination of the classic song – My Grandfather’s Clock. The song describes a clock that was bought on “Grandfather’s” birth day and stopped working on his death day, indicating some sort of strange coincidence as if the clock were to be controlling the “Grandfather”. To show this eerie co-relation, I decided to portray the “Grandfather” as the owner of an antique, mysterious clock shop. In the diorama, the apparent grandfather clock appears to be controlling the helpless “Grandfather”. Considering the seclusion of the shop, this would mean no one will ever discover this sinister connection.
