In this artwork, I wanted to convey the sense of confusion and disorientation of a city, and in part, of the outside world in general. Being somewhat of an introvert, I feel the outside world is confusing and alien at times, and this is what I felt like depicting in my work. I chose a cityscape, as a city is a complex and large place, and I distorted it to further increase the sense of confusion. Additionally, the barren sky and dark ocean were meant to instill a sense of dread.
