Liveable Cities Challenge 2019

No two waves are the same. The smooth transition from a crashing wave to a peaceful sea calms the soul. This series of artworks aims to shed light on the meaning of waves and showcase the movement of the turbid waters in painting.

From the dominant turquoise tsunamis to the serene bubbles in the sea, the artworks show the sequences of a natural phenomenon- water movement. The 4 different types of waves, spilling, plunging, collapsing, and ending with a tranquil sea and underwater foam.
