A feathered friend is someone that you were once close to, someone you once cared about, someone who now hates you. This old friendship is one that has decayed down to its bare bones and few remaining memories. To revive this friendship is no easy task. It will take much effort and time, and it might even hurt to pour your heart out and open up to the other. But by being sincere and understanding of each other, this relationship can be rebuilt. Healing takes time, and not all wounds will vanish. Some scars will never fade but you just have to accept it and move on. Only then can you make new memories together and rebuild that connection with each other. Only then can your friendship flourish and blossom once more.
